California Senate Bill 250, the mandatory sterilization bill, was assigned to the Assembly Business and Professions Committee yesterday and will be heard next Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 447 of the State Capitol. Bill Hemby will be there to testify, but we need your help to stop this misguided and invasive measure.

Golden Gate Shih Tzu Fanciers New Member

Becoming an active member to help support the club in all the events. The Golden Gate Shih Tzu Fanciers is a non-profit organization established in 1969. To encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred Shih Tzu and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection. To apply for membership in the GGSTF, you must have first attended three (3) club meetings within a one-year period. You may then request an application for membership from the club secretary. Your membership application must be signed by two sponsors and returned with appropriate membership dues to the club secretary. By the narrowest of margins, California Senate Bill 250, the mandatory spay and neuter bill, yesterday passed out of the Senate with a bare minimum majority of 21 votes. The bill now goes on the Assembly.

This statewide California mandatory spay and neuter bill supported by HSUS and PETA is irresponsible and inhumane legislation and we need your help to defeat this bill and protect our pets. Let me be very clear: SB 250 will result in more dogs and cats being killed and cost taxpayers millions.

Karen's Babies 5 Weeks Old

I just love this photo of our newest babies. All of those bellies puppy pink. They look so relaxed and content. I can watch these babies all day, they sure make me smile. They are growing so fast, soon they will be running all over. We love taking care of these precious puppies.

Karen's Shih Tzu Puppies Week old

We are so excited to announce our new litter of Shih Tzu puppies from our very special Karen. Karen is our logo model for Chenille Shih Tzu. We work hard to make sure that mother and babies have the best care and totally pampered. They are home raised, with great attention to keeping them safe and well socialized. They are now 4 weeks old and starting to show their cute personalities. We will be updating videos and photo's so you can watch these babies grow. Karen had one male and 3 females, the markings on these pups are outstanding. Male puppy is a beautiful gold and white, our females two of them are gorgeous black and white and one is gold and white with black tipping absolutely stunning. We strive for quality as we want to bring out the best traits possible in our shih tzu puppies. Puppies were born April 28, 2009. Take a look at them just a week old...... to cute for words!

Playful Pups

These Shih Tzu puppies are growing so fast, we can't believe they are already 8 weeks old. We take them out to the grass area, the grass is cool on their bellies. Plus it gives them a little tickle, they just love it. All of these babies are full of fun, they love playing with each other. Tackling seems to be the best way to get a fellow litter mate to play. We can spend the whole day watching and laughing at these little clowns, they are just to cute!
